Ping brings related signals together, so you can see the situation behind the update.

Fictional work, real workflows. Try the examples above.
01

Dates & momentum

Overdue work, approaching dates, stale issues, and missed commitments.

02

Blockers & dependencies

Blocked statuses, work waiting on other issues, and unanswered questions.

03

Reviews & quality

Waiting linked code reviews and failed tests connected to an issue.

04

Ownership & delivery

Unassigned work, unavailable owners, repeated reassignment, and sprint risk.

What Ping can notice depends on the project data and integrations available. Today shows situations according to your role and access.

02 / MORE THAN A REMINDER

Less to keep in your head.
More room for the work.

From a personal promise to a recurring team question, Ping helps carry the context forward without making every conversation a meeting.

A conversation with context

Ask about project work in your own Ping thread. Mention Ping in an issue comment or chat to bring the question closer to the work.

Commitments that get a follow-up

Tell Ping what you’ll do and when. Issue commitments follow the work; personal commitments get a private check-in with Done, Not yet, or New date.

Questions that reach the right people

Confirm a question to a teammate or a group. Recipients choose the facts they share; tracking a reply does not reveal a private answer.

Team routines, with less chasing

Send announcements, request an acknowledgement, or schedule a repeating team ask. Review shared facts, remind waiting recipients, and pause or stop a routine.

Useful context, remembered

Ping remembers explicit work notes, groups, and away periods. See the author and personal, project, or workspace scope; edit or forget the memories you control.

A brief for the day ahead

Daily briefs and weekly digests bring together the work you can access. Managers can receive situation briefs based on issue facts. Choose your own brief preferences.

03 / CONNECTED TO YOUR DAY

Bring the next step
within reach.

Keep the conversation in Leera. Connect the channels and calendars that help you follow through, with the right setup and your permission.

MEETINGS & CALENDARS

Sometimes, a short
conversation is the next step.

Ask Ping to arrange 15–60 minutes with up to five other people. Review suggested times, collect responses, and get an invitation when everyone accepts.

Connected calendar availability considered

Allow Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 to check busy times and add the confirmed meeting to the organiser’s calendar. Calendar access is optional; suggested times are not a guarantee of availability.

LEERA, SLACK & EMAIL

The update, where you’ll see it.

Get copies of Ping cards through configured email and Slack channels. Mention Ping in Slack to ask about accessible work. Approvals and sharing stay in Leera.

Channels need workspace setup and personal permission. Email replies require a self-hosted instance with Leera’s built-in inbound mail server.

YOUR GMAIL, WHEN YOU ASK

A draft you get to decide on.

Where enabled, Ping reads Gmail only when you ask in your own thread. Ask for a draft or reply, then review the exact message before sending from your connected account.

Gmail is not available on Leera Cloud yet. It requires an enabled instance and your permission. Outlook mail is not supported.

04 / ON YOUR TERMS

A helpful teammate.
With clear boundaries.

Your workspace sets the charter: the projects Ping watches, the actions it can take, and the moments that need a person to decide.

THE WORKSPACE CHARTER

Choose how Ping helps.

Act within the charter

Let Ping take permitted actions when the configured decision provider supports it.

Propose and wait

Review changes before they happen. Issue changes you request in your own thread are proposed.

Turn an action off

Exclude actions, pause a project, or pause Ping when your workspace needs a break.

Room for focus, and for time away.

Manage your consent, working hours, quiet hours, briefs, and connected accounts. Administrators set project scope, budgets, reporting lines, and retention.

A record of the action.

Review proposals and the journal. Actions are checked against current permissions and the current work before they apply.

Insight into the workflow.

Administrators see project and weekly aggregates for situations, actions, commitments, delivery, and model usage. Small counts are withheld; there are no individual performance rows.

Ping’s capabilities depend on your setup. A configured decision provider enables charter-based autonomy; a chat model alone proposes changes. Without an AI provider, Ping is limited to templated check-ins. AI usage and provider terms apply. Explore model options

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Getting to know your new work companion.

What is Ping?

Ping is Leera’s AI teammate. It watches the projects in scope for late or stuck work, checks in with the responsible person in a private thread, remembers useful work context, and follows up on commitments. It can answer project questions, coordinate team asks and meetings, and act within the administrator’s charter. Availability depends on the matching release, module access and configured services.

Can Ping change project work on its own?

The workspace charter sets each action to automatic, approval first, or off, with project overrides. With a decision provider configured, Ping can update dates, owners and statuses, create issues, and take other permitted actions when the case is clear; otherwise it proposes a change. A change requested in your own Ping thread is always proposed for review. Approved changes record the approver, and a proposal is not applied if the issue has changed in the meantime.

Who can read my conversation or the facts I share?

Other members and workspace administrators cannot open your private Ping thread through the application. When someone asks you a question through Ping, you choose the facts and audience on a Share card. Shared by me lets you withdraw the copies Ping can recall and shows what cannot be taken back, such as an issue date already changed or a posted comment. Reusable work memories have personal, project or workspace scope and are available to that scope. Configured model providers process the content they receive, and the instance operator can access stored database data. Email and Slack copies follow those services’ own access and retention rules.

How do team asks, announcements and recurring questions work?

Review the message, named recipients, deadline and response tracking before choosing Confirm and send. Track responses only from people in your reporting subtree or a project you administer; recipients are told who can see their status, and private answer text still requires Share. Announcements can request Got it. Repeating questions have a confirmed schedule, refresh their audience on each run, and can be paused, resumed or stopped. Summaries use only shared facts.

What does Ping remember?

Ping automatically saves explicit, useful work facts, named groups and away periods from your conversation within the scopes you may use. What Ping remembers shows the fact, scope and author, with edit and forget controls where you have permission. A turn that reads connected email cannot create memory, and private relay answers keep their sharing restrictions. Forget my memories deletes your personal memories and the shared memories you authored.

Can I use Ping with email, Slack and my calendar?

Email copies require outgoing email, and Slack copies require the workspace’s Slack connection, administrator settings and your linked account. Delivery respects your working and quiet hours. Approvals and sharing stay in the app; typed email or Slack replies do not approve changes. Replies by email require a self-hosted instance running Leera’s built-in inbound mail server. Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 calendars need instance configuration and your own permission; Ping uses busy times to help suggest meetings and can add or remove meetings you organise.

Can Ping read or send my email?

Only on an instance where an administrator enables the service and you grant access. Gmail is not available on Leera Cloud yet, pending Google’s restricted-scope verification. Ping reads Gmail only when you ask in your own thread; answers that used email stay there and are marked accordingly. Sending needs a separate permission, your request, and approval of the exact recipients, subject and text on a draft card. Ping never sends mail from your account on its own. Outlook mail, attachments, HTML email and a shared Ping mailbox are not supported.

How do I control when Ping contacts me?

Each person accepts a one-time notice before receiving normal Ping contact and can turn it off. Set working hours, quiet hours and channel preferences, and choose whether to receive daily briefs and weekly digests, which are on by default. Administrators can pause a project or the whole workspace and control scope, action permissions, budgets and retention. Briefs appear in Ping and, when enabled, email; they are not sent to Slack.

Can I choose a different companion?

Yes. Web and desktop clients offer ten animated appearances plus Classic Ping. Your companion and animation choice are saved for your account in that workspace and shared across signed-in web and desktop clients. Reduced-motion settings take precedence. This changes appearance only; it does not grant access or turn Ping contact on. Mobile companion rendering and its picker are not yet available.

What is required to use Ping?

Ping needs a matching database, API and web release, with both AI and Planner access for the person using it. An AI provider powers conversational features. A decision provider enables autonomous decisions within the charter; without it Ping proposes, and without an AI provider it falls back to templated check-ins. Email, Slack and connected accounts each need their own setup; Ping uses a connected account only with that person’s approval. Availability and provider behaviour must be verified on the running deployment.
